Pediatric Mentoring Program

Therapeutic Resources Announces a FREE Mentoring Program for
New Graduates and Experienced Providers Transitioning to Pediatrics

Demand for therapists working with the adult population is decreasing while demand for pediatric therapists surges.  Therapeutic Resources want to help experienced adult therapists looking to transition, as well as new graduates taking their first assignment, have a successful and fulfilling experience working in pediatrics.

To that end, we have developed a comprehensive mentoring program whereby highly experienced pediatric practitioners will support and educate program participants.

The Therapeutic Resources Mentoring Program includes the assignment of an experienced mentor who will:
  • Orient you to the world of school-based pediatrics.

  • Assist you to negotiate the school environment and help you establish your role as a pediatric provider in both public and private schools.

  • Be available through phone, email and one on one sessions to answer questions and help problem solve difficult challenges

  • Instruct you at Therapeutic Resources Pediatric Courses for CEU credits including our entry level required course entitled “Entering The World of Pediatrics: A Foundation for Successful Practice”.
This course covers normal growth, development, evaluation, and treatment strategies for both the preschool and school-aged population.  Practical strategies for succeeding in a school setting and documentation guidelines will also be reviewed.

  • Participation in regular mentoring group meetings where participants will gain the support of their mentor and peers to address treatment challenges, issues encountered in the school setting along with the presentation of case studies.

  • With this support, providers entering the world of pediatrics will have an easy transition, develop their intervention skills and enjoy a satisfying and rewarding career enhancing experience.
